The Guayquiraró AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Colas should have stopped the shot. The Guayquiraró AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ferro carril Oeste were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Cordareo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Guayquiraró AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Naldo to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Colas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Claus in the 62nd minute of play forced Ferro carril Oeste's goalkeeper Bernardo Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guayquiraró AFC's zone, Pedro Cordareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Colas came out of the goal and Pedro Cordareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Big Mikes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Claus was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Guayquiraró AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Raimundo Claus hit a great ball. Benigno Cristofol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bernardo Iaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Cordareo in the 90th minute of the match.
