The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alabahama AFC's Angelo Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Claus in the 22nd minute of play. Haroldo Jorrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Esteban Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Guayquiraró AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Hever. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Claus in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Anaya saved Alabahama AFC from getting behind. Diego Otsoa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Esteban Colas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Angelo Anaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Claus went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Claus to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Alabahama AFC's Haroldo Jorrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Colas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Diego Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alabahama AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Otsoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A collision led to Alabahama AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cesar Lorien hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Benigno Cristofol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Angelo Anaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Haroldo Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alabahama AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alabahama AFC's Diego Otsoa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guayquiraró AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
