Bernardino Elixio charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Elixio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Mar del Tuyu F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Elixio to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Felo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Asur made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Romo got free with Bonifacio Asur in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genzo Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Iban in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes Unidos AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Suero who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Mar del Tuyu F.C getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hernan Iban hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Mar del Tuyu F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Felo came free, but Bonifacio Asur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Benigno Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mar del Tuyu F.C reached it. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Jeremias Romo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bonifacio Asur to make any attempt to save it. After 46 played minutes Benigno Cefero rounded Mar del Tuyu F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Iban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Unidos AC booed when Mar del Tuyu F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Kasprzykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Justino Nicholas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidos AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mar del Tuyu F.C the free kick. After 56 played minutes Unidos AC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Nicholas. Mar del Tuyu F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo Suero in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Suero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Genzo Wakabayashi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 64 minutes, Hernan Iban made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Unidos AC's Genzo Wakabayashi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Mar del Tuyu F.C's Eleuterio Taurino got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bonifacio Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Blasco in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Romo in the 87th minute of play forced Mar del Tuyu F.C's goalkeeper Bonifacio Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Asur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Blasco in the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Mar del Tuyu F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Honrio came free, but Bonifacio Asur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mar del Tuyu F.C's zone, Benigno Cefero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Asur came out of the goal and Benigno Cefero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonifacio Asur came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Unidos AC's Aristides Honrio. But to his dismay, Aristides Honrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Unidos AC fully deserved thier win.
