A collision led to Merluza De Barranquilla getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Edelmiro Osoro hit a great ball. When Genaro Ceandro came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Todo en venta! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Ceandro couldn't finish the play. Merluza De Barranquilla's Filomeno Gorbea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Merluza De Barranquilla from getting a goal against them. Fabian Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marcial Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Gorbea came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Todo en venta!'s Isaias Marko. But to his dismay, Isaias Marko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 18 played minutes Merluza De Barranquilla got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Osoro. Filomeno Gorbea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Vellito in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Merluza De Barranquilla defense, Haroldo Frascuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Gorbea. The Merluza De Barranquilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Gorbea should have stopped the shot. Edelmiro Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Todo en venta!'s Angel Ubelteso in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merluza De Barranquilla's goalie prevented a goal. Patricio Vellito's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filomeno Gorbea firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcial Chap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Todo en venta!'s Genaro Ceandro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Filomeno Gorbea. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabian Banegas made the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Gorbea came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Todo en venta!'s Patricio Vellito. But to his dismay, Patricio Vellito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 56 minutes, Iker Bela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merluza De Barranquilla and the Todo en venta! players grew even worse after the yellow card. 59 minutes into the match, Merluza De Barranquilla's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Marko came free, but Filomeno Gorbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Haroldo Frascuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Gorbea was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, Todo en venta!'s Everardo Sansone got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Edelmiro Osoro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Angel Ubelteso took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Gorbea. Filomeno Gorbea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Todo en venta!'s Everardo Sansone got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Filomeno Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Frascuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Filomeno Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Vellito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Banegas in the 89th minute of play forced Todo en venta!'s goalkeeper Marcial Chap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Vellito in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Angel Ubelteso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Gorbea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
