Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pascual Chuan started the match with the kick off. After 4th play minutes Salvador Aurre shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Blas Ostadar and just under the crossbar into goal. Cristo Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Ostadar having to interfere. Blas Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Aurre in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Bragado getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ladislao Aztore hit a great ball. The supporters of Elertondo booed when Bragado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Eustaquio Aurken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blas Ostadar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Salvador Aurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elertondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Aurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Ostadar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 23rd minute, but Godfredo Gabirel got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Elertondo hanging dry this time. In the 25th match minute, Elertondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Aurken to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Estavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Godfredo Gabirel made a huge save. Gilberto Estavan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Gabirel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Salvador Aurre struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Blas Ostadar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elertondo. Americo Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Bragado's Blas Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Santo in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Santo in the 46th minute of play forced Bragado's goalkeeper Blas Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Elertondo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Santo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bragado's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Aurre came free, but Blas Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Elpidio Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bragado's zone, Salvador Aurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Ostadar came out of the goal and Salvador Aurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes of play, Bragado's Pascual Chuan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Gabirel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd match minute, Elertondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Bragado defense, Salvador Aurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Ostadar. The Bragado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Ostadar should have stopped the shot. Americo Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elertondo's goalkeeper Godfredo Gabirel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Bautista hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes, Bragado's Elpidio Lucero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godfredo Gabirel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bragado reached it. Elertondo's Godfredo Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Chuan in the 89th minute of play. Bragado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristo Santo 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. If Salvador Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Elertondo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
