The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ovidio Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Maximo Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Taurino made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ovidio Malvin sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Cavalango's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Edwardo came free, but Octavio Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Anyelo MDP's Primitivo Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Urtun in the 39th minute of play. Ovidio Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Taurino having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Urtun to make the kick off. Cavalango's Octavio Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Malvin in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Epifanio Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anyelo MDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Edwardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Urtun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Primitivo Abalos came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximo Urtun slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 62nd minute. Primitivo Abalos made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Miguel Lastur sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Urtun in the 71st minute of the match. Epifanio Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Taurino having to interfere. A collision led to Cavalango getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mateo Galo hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Cavalango got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Tristan. Ovidio Malvin took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Taurino. Octavio Taurino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Celestino Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Primitivo Abalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Urtun's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Cavalango's Octavio Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Malvin in the 91st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Luisito Unai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Angelino Manni's late challenge caught a Cavalango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Manni helped the player get up and apologised. Angelino Manni hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Anyelo MDP walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
