In the 27th match minute, Carnerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Domingues to maneuver through the defense. If Pastor Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Medanitos defense, Lorenzo Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franko Armani. The Medanitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franko Armani should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Abel during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Medanitos's Americo Abel got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute Pastor Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Ladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Francis in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Ladio prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Lucila to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Carnerillo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Amado Cebrian hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Edgard Francis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albino Ladio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carnerillo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Gaueko in the 55th minute. Albino Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Ladio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Hotz in the 64th minute of play forced Carnerillo's goalkeeper Albino Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Carnerillo defense, Edgard Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Ladio. The Carnerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Ladio should have stopped the shot. Medanitos made a substitution. Sebastian Alonso replaced Godfredo Bertin. Carnerillo's Albino Ladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Francis in the 73rd minute of play. If Edgard Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute of the match, Albino Abadie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Franko Armani was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edgard Jaen charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Jaen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgard Jaen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
