When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edgard Francis sped through Rangel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mateo Schellekens. In the last second Franko Armani throw himself and got hold of the ball when Julian Gergori in the 27thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Rangel's Mateo Schellekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Ieltxu in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, Medanitos's Edgard Francis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Schellekens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Franko Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Cordarius in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Francis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Julian Gergori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medanitos's Franko Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Medanitos's Placido Gipuzkoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateo Schellekens. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. Franko Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 65th minute.
