The referee ignored Las Torres FC's protests and gave Benedicto Silviano a yellow card for diving instead. Benedicto Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Intercontinental Series getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rodrigo Ugaitz hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Intercontinental Series's goalkeeper Artemio Matia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Silviano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Romelio in the 11th minute of play forced Intercontinental Series's goalkeeper Artemio Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Klejnowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Farias, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Borys Klejnowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Silviano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artemio Matia. Intercontinental Series's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Las Torres FC's Manuel Romelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Matia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Las Torres FC's Eustaquio Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Farias in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Intercontinental Series's Rafael Truylos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ciriaco Farias struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Eustaquio Austin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Intercontinental Series. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Borys Klejnowski to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute Manuel Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ladislao Cuarto fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Constantino Eate's late challenge caught a Las Torres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Eate helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Intercontinental Series getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Constantino Eate hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Intercontinental Series's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Cuarto came free, but Artemio Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Cuarto in the 74th minute of the match. Higinio Karmel made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Borys Klejnowski. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Las Torres FC had played much better football throughout.
