He walked away shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Taquello FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Chano came free, but Tiburcio Eliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Precioso's late challenge caught a Mapaches Aulladores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Precioso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Taquello FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eliseo Precioso hit a great ball. With a little luck, Taquello FC's Tiburcio Eliu got control of the ball when Cristobal Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Adolfo Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes in the game, Mo Lesta dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tiburcio Eliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Chano in the 54th minute of the match. Tiburcio Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Chano in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Orlin in the 62nd minute of play forced Taquello FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Eliu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Haroldo Toli came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mapaches Aulladores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Toli couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, Taquello FC's Bruno Lon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Posam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Despite being the better team, Mapaches Aulladores failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
