In the 11th minute, Jarūnas Bložė ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Argenis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With his leg Joel Cordarrol managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Gaelicos's Adrian Ospetsu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute, Jarūnas Bložė made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Argenis. Gaelicos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bragan Brennan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Argenis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Iker Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Joel Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, real punta alta's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Txurio came free, but Joel Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. real punta alta's Joel Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Txurio in the 27th minute of play. Joel Cordarrol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iker Txurio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 28 minute of play. Jacinto Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gaelicos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Casimiro Selmo hit a great ball. Joel Cordarrol was a little too slow when Iker Txurio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-2. Wilfredo Mitxaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Txurio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gaelicos's zone, Jarūnas Bložė stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Argenis came out of the goal and Jarūnas Bložė tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Cordarrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Gilabert in the 52nd minute of play. Jorge Argenis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jarūnas Bložė showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 58 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jarūnas Bložė's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Argenis was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Jorge Argenis was a little too slow when Jarūnas Bložė got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-5. Iker Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Joel Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Bragan Brennan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the real punta alta and the Gaelicos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gaelicos booed when real punta alta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bragan Brennan didn't get a good kick on the ball. real punta alta's Joel Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Txurio in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, real punta alta's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Txurio came free, but Joel Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. real punta alta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
