Spectators: 7407 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernardino Unai kicked off to start the match. Bernardino Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Ortiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Hernan Gabino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute Bernardino Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE booed when Cangallo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Bernardino Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cangallo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Unai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Esquipula hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Emanuel Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Gabino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Gomesano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Anibal Pero suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Cangallo AFC's Luisito Esquipula got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Luisito Esquipula off the ground. Luisito Esquipula hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Armando Gomesano's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Gomesano helped the player get up and apologised. Cangallo AFC's Hernan Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Vigil in the 43rd minute of play. Emanuel Ortiz got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 44th match minute before Hernan Gabino had time to react. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Ortiz to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Emanuel Ortiz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cangallo AFC's Hernan Gabino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Ortiz in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Gabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Gabino having to interfere. INDEPENDIENTE's Armando Teyo suffered a sore thigh after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bernardino Unai kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When INDEPENDIENTE's Emanuel Ortiz in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cangallo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute Bernardino Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Dacio was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Armando Gomesano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After 87 minutes of play Cangallo AFC's Bernardino Unai was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cangallo AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bernardino Unai hit a great ball. Vladimiro Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hernan Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vladimiro Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
