The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Jacindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Mel was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Mariano Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Panfilo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Academia RC's Florentino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Jacindo in the 26th minute of play. Florentino Mel came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granatinto FC's Dan Harhoiu. But to his dismay, Dan Harhoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Wilfredo Jacindo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Severiano Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Academia RC's Salvatore Oster got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Academia RC's Florentino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Jacindo in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Jacindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Cebrian struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Severiano Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia RC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venancio Bazkoare during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severiano Malvin went to the wrong direction when Ivan Reichenberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Florentino Mel came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Granatinto FC's Wilfredo Jacindo. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Jacindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Jacindo in the 61st minute of play forced Academia RC's goalkeeper Florentino Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia RC's Florentino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Harhoiu in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Granatinto FC's Edgardo Rosalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Severiano Malvin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Quinito's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Salvatore Oster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Harhoiu in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Mel saved Academia RC from getting behind. Granatinto FC's Severiano Malvin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Granatinto FC from getting a goal against them. Florentino Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Jacindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Granatinto FC's Godfredo Bladi made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mariano Quinito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia RC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Quinito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Aquiles Refugio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granatinto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia RC the free kick. Aquiles Refugio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
