The Chañarense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Totakoxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Txerran was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in MDQPEÑAROL's zone, Filiberto Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Piearres came out of the goal and Filiberto Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Toribio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Piearres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Toribio ran back to his position shaking his head. Chañarense's Efrain Chap quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Higinio Ferman, made in the 21st minute of the game. Celestino Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Rivas in the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Totakoxe in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Txerran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Antonio Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Salvador Dantel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Corderro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Filiberto Rivas sped through MDQPEÑAROL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celestino Piearres. Jorge Toribio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Piearres having to make a save. Conrado Txerran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Totakoxe in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filiberto Rivas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Totakoxe in the 54th minute of play forced Chañarense's goalkeeper Conrado Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Chañarense got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Toribio. In the 64th minute, Fred Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Totakoxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Txerran was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The supporters of Chañarense booed when MDQPEÑAROL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Laurendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Dantel, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Chañarense's Salvador Dantel got a free kick in the 85th minute. Chañarense's Conrado Txerran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Totakoxe in the 87th minute of play. When Filiberto Rivas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Celestino Piearres was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Chañarense played a much better game than MDQPEÑAROL and deserved their victory. The MDQPEÑAROL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
