An unexpectedly hard shot by Mert Oncel in the 43rd minute of play forced Funes Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Nicolas Argider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Funes Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Wallmark came free, but Nicolas Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Funes Fútbol Club's Everardo Piearres got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Piearres in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damiano Santucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Funes Fútbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Cock were winning 0-3.
Funes Fútbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Karl-Johan Wallmark scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Argider, making the score, 0-4. After 59 played minutes Sporting Cock got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Remir. Severiano Lamberto, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 68th match minute, Funes Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Piearres to maneuver through the defense. Mert Oncel took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Argider. Nicolas Argider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Mert Oncel took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Nicolas Argider to make any attempt to save it. Sporting Cock's Ciro Orlondo was substituted for Mert Oncel. When Everardo Piearres came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Funes Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Piearres couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Funes Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Nicolas Argider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Orlondo. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Johan Wallmark kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolas Argider. That made the score 0-8 in the 94 minute of play. The Funes Fútbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sporting Cock were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
