The Areco Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Areco Juniors's Lucjan Ciborek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucjan Ciborek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Onofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. If Eloy Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Arbolito AFC's Fidel Onofre got control of the ball when Lucjan Ciborek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo Abalos might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Onofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Abalos ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Lucjan Ciborek could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Fidel Onofre however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Raimundo Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Areco Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Onofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Pelagius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fidel Onofre. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. If Raimundo Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Areco Juniors booed when Arbolito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Pelagius hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes, Arbolito AFC's Basilio Abalos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stamatis Kalabokis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arbolito AFC reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Urdin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Raimundo Abalos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Onofre. Arbolito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Abalos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 54th minute, Aldo Rubio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Areco Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 57th match minute, Arbolito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Onofre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Rubio went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. If Lucjan Ciborek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Arbolito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Abalos came free, but Fidel Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Aldo Rubio notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Arbolito AFC's Fidel Onofre. Fidel Onofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eleuterio Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eleuterio Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Areco Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Neron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Onofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Onofre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Ciborek went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Aldo Rubio took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Onofre. Fidel Onofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. There was no doubt that Areco Juniors were the better team. Areco Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
