Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Bastia got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Runefaust's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Colas came free, but Silvestre Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match, Luciano Jon sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Silvestre Nesor showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Loren in the 12th minute of play forced Runefaust's goalkeeper Silvestre Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Miguel Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Runefaust fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Bastia couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Isaac Hulberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Runefaust's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batel the free kick. After 22 played minutes Runefaust got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Hulberto. If Apolo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Batel booed when Runefaust was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Justo Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Batel booed when Runefaust was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Runefaust's goalkeeper Silvestre Nesor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Saturnino Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Mergildo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Apolo Mergildo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Runefaust's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ruperto Nuñez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Bastia in the 45th minute. When Luciano Jon fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batel's protests and gave Luciano Jon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Batel's Luciano Jon got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Loren to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Miguel Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Miguel Bastia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ruperto Nuñez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedicto Gaskon hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Pablo Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Bastia took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Nuñez. Ruperto Nuñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Runefaust's Miguel Bastia in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Batel's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Miguel Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runefaust's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Bastia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Miguel Bastia got free in front of the goal in the 75th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ruperto Nuñez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Daniel Colas charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Colas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Batel getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Daniel Colas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Apolo Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runefaust's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Apolo Mergildo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Runefaust fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 90 minutes, Apolo Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Runefaust's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Mergildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruperto Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Mergildo in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Runefaust were the better team. Runefaust's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
