The tension between the Velez Club and the Pone Los Fideos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lorenzo Rencio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pone Los Fideos's Gustavo Jurdan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. With 12 minutes on the clock, Witold Kiszkiel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Pone Los Fideos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pone Los Fideos:s Florentino Herensuge showed great skill when he stopped Humberto Hernando:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Medero in the 17th minute of play forced Velez Club's goalkeeper Lorenzo Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lorenzo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Velez Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Erasto to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Pone Los Fideos's Gustavo Jurdan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Rencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Velez Club booed when Pone Los Fideos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Jurdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ciriaco Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Velez Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Rencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Jurdan's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Velez Club were furious when Candido Erauso was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Candido Erauso hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Teo Vincente came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pone Los Fideos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Vincente couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Jurdan in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Rencio saved Velez Club from getting behind. After some careless play in the Velez Club defense, Gustavo Jurdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Rencio. The Velez Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Rencio should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Gustavo Jurdan made the kick off in the second half. Florentino Herensuge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Medero in the 65th minute of play forced Velez Club's goalkeeper Lorenzo Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the match, Jonatan Medero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lorenzo Rencio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th minute, Pone Los Fideos's Jonatan Medero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. 73 minutes into the match, Velez Club's goalkeeper Lorenzo Rencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Jurdan. Florentino Herensuge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Kelemen in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Placido Kelemen made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Herensuge. Pone Los Fideos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. In the 80th minute Gustavo Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonatan Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Gustavo Jurdan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lorenzo Rencio. Gustavo Jurdan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. Gustavo Jurdan took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Rencio. Lorenzo Rencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. Pone Los Fideos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
