After 17 played minutes Deportivo Sarandi OFF got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Elorri. When Gabby Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the CA Cachin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabby Batistuta couldn't finish the play. Maximo Gaitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Tomasz Chrzan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Gaitano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 0-5 became the score in the 44th minute when Gabby Batistuta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Deportivo Sarandi OFF got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Frederik. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fermin Joanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rob Rouvoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Gaitano having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Sarandi OFF's goalkeeper Maximo Gaitano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabby Batistuta. Maximo Gaitano was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Tomasz Chrzan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomasz Chrzan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 66th minute, CA Cachin's Gabby Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Maximo Gaitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Rouvoet, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. He walked away shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Rouvoet got free with Maximo Gaitano in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Deportivo Sarandi OFF's Maximo Gaitano got control of the ball when Gabby Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Deportivo Sarandi OFF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CA Cachin were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
