In the 4th match minute, Batán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Pipo Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Palben was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Lino Camerino struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Hugo Palben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal F.C. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lino Camerino sped through Batán AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Palben. In the 18th minute, Pipo Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Palben was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 22 played minutes Batán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Matthew. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Camerino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Palben. That made the score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. A collision led to Batán AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Evaristo Matthew hit a great ball. Pipo Ronaldo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Arsenal F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Patricio Tancredo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Manuel Ramone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batán AFC. 31 minutes in the game, Pipo Ronaldo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hugo Palben having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Pipo Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pipo Ronaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Palben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipo Ronaldo in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lino Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Camerino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Palben breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th match minute, Batán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Gonza to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Luix fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 48th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C's Pipo Ronaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Palben narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Palben came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal F.C's Lino Camerino. But to his dismay, Lino Camerino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Lino Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Lino Camerino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Palben was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 68th play minutes Pipo Ronaldo shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Hugo Palben and just under the crossbar into goal. Lino Camerino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Batán AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Arsenal F.C a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fidel Luix, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Batán AFC's Hugo Palben. 8-0. After 89 minutes of play, Arsenal F.C's Pipo Ronaldo made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Palben was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Camerino struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hugo Palben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal F.C. Arsenal F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
