The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Valentine got free with Venancio Millan in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute Moron were awarded a corner. Samuel Tano went to the cornerflag to take it. Samuel Tano made a great header on Moron's corner, it was just that independiente's Venancio Millan managed to reach the ball for a save. Mauricio Naldo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Venancio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Fiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Narciso Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Iker Gutierrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moron the free kick. A collision led to independiente getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Iker Gutierrez hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th match minute, independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Criston to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Fiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Venancio Millan made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Gregorio Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Millan came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Moron's Israel Valentine. But to his dismay, Israel Valentine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Iker Gutierrez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. The supporters of Moron booed when independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, independiente's Dario Senen got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute, Israel Valentine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Fiz in the 51st minute of play forced independiente's goalkeeper Venancio Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Coporan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dario Senen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Călin Coporan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Osvaldo Escudero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Samuel Tano advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-0 in the 65th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Moron's Pascual Fiz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Escudero came free, but Venancio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Peli to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, independiente's Mauricio Naldo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Venancio Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Fiz's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Osvaldo Escudero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Millan was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When Nicasio Criston fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored independiente's protests and gave Nicasio Criston a yellow card for diving instead. Moron walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
