Tomé Negri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Basilio Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Negri in the 33rd minute of the match. Celedonio Frederik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Celal Sönmezalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Negri in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Pelotines Sporting booed when Dolores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Pepillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Dolores's Celal Sönmezalp got control of the ball when Joaquim Carlos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pascual Llin got free in front of the goal in the 56th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Celal Sönmezalp was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dolores made a substitution. Angelo Ostargi replaced Tomé Negri. In the 64th minute, Joaquim Carlos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celal Sönmezalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Angelo Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Basilio Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Ostargi in the 75th minute of play. Joaquim Carlos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celal Sönmezalp having to make a save. Joaquim Carlos in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celal Sönmezalp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Pelotines Sporting getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gerardo Franco hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Wilfredo Admon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Angelo Ostargi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Celal Sönmezalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Llin in the 92nd minute of play. Pelotines Sporting's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
