Ruperto Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Gardner, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Artemio Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, La Guardia Imperial's Ovidio Carlomagno got control of the ball when Lano Chapital tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Javier Gardner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Guardia Imperial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. La Guardia Imperial's Javier Gardner got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, La Guardia Imperial's Javier Gardner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Guillen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Ovidio Carlomagno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lano Chapital went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. La Guardia Imperial's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
