Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Racing Club's Agustin Raphael started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Formentera fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Formentera's Blas Estevez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Blas Estevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Jakobe. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Jakobe should have stopped the shot. Formentera's attentive Carlos Fernández managed to snatch the ball when Celedonio Ereinotz made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Victor Jakobe came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Formentera's Blas Estevez. But to his dismay, Blas Estevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 23rd minute, Anacleto Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Jakobe having to make a save. If Fausto Cresencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Blas Estevez put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Jakobe. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Blas Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Jakobe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Celedonio Ereinotz got a free kick in the 45th minute. Blas Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Etxahun made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Formentera's Astor Etxahun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victor Jakobe. Victor Jakobe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 59th minute, Blas Estevez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Jakobe. The goal made the score 0-9. Formentera's Carlos Fernández quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celedonio Ereinotz, made in the 62nd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Blas Estevez sped through Racing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Jakobe. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Blas Estevez put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Jakobe. 71 minutes into the match, Blas Estevez notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Racing Club's Victor Jakobe. Victor Jakobe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Estevez in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Jakobe saved Racing Club from getting behind. Victor Jakobe was a little too slow when Blas Estevez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-13. The nice shot from Blas Estevez in the 79thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Victor Jakobe had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Blas Estevezs short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Victor Jakobe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victor Jakobe was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Blas Estevez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blas Estevez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Celedonio Ereinotz made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Formentera's Carlos Fernández. In the 87th minute, Blas Estevez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Estevezs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Victor Jakobe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Victor Jakobe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Estevez. Formentera played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
