An unexpectedly hard shot by Rivaldo Brasil in the 17th minute of play forced Arsenal de Sarandi's goalkeeper Angelino Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Rivaldo Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Donio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Arsenio Tibalt struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Angelino Donio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Tokyo United. Arsenal de Sarandi's Angelino Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Hood in the 24th minute of play. Robin Hood succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Marcelo Toribio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Efe Vechi in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Hood came free, but Angelino Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Arsenal de Sarandi's Raymond Ayala getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Petrică Levința made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Arsenal de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Muno. Armando Nicolini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Donio having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Patrizio Trabjerglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Nicolini came free, but Angelino Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind East Tokyo United's goalkeeper Marcelo Toribio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robin Hood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Donio having to interfere. The Arsenal de Sarandi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching East Tokyo United's performance. The match ended with a win for East Tokyo United.
