Cayetano Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Santos Borre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Ubarna in the 6th minute of play forced Carnerillo's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Boxitracio FC's Romeo Ubarna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Ekialde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Romeo Ubarna notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carnerillo's Rigoberto Ekialde. Rigoberto Ekialde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Romeo Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boxitracio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Ubarna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Ekialde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Romeo Ubarna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Ekialde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Borre in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Lluis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aaron Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Ubarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Ekialde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Rigoberto Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Ubarna in the 37th minute of the match. Carnerillo's Aaron Darien pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Izotz during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, Romeo Ubarna notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Carnerillo's Rigoberto Ekialde. Rigoberto Ekialde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Gaitano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iker Azibar made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jaime Venceslao however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Romeo Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boxitracio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Ubarna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Ekialde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Carnerillo booed when Boxitracio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Ekialde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Ubarna in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes Carnerillo got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Claris. Rigoberto Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Ubarna in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes Boxitracio FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Gaitano. Jaime Venceslao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Lluis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Carnerillo defense, Romeo Ubarna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Ekialde. The Carnerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Ekialde should have stopped the shot. Romeo Ubarna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Ekialde came out and tried to block the shot, but Romeo Ubarna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 86th minute. Jaime Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Isidoro Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Romeo Ubarna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boxitracio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Boxitracio FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
