Igor Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Batista in the 12th minute of play. Gabriel Cheche's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Igor Montae firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 17 minutes of play, BALTICA FC's Benjamin Quintun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Mitxaut was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Darregueira FC's zone, Krisztián Novák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Mitxaut came out of the goal and Krisztián Novák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Krisztián Novák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Mitxaut was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Krisztián Novák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BALTICA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hernan Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Frechoso in the 36th minute of play. Higinio Frechoso's late challenge caught a Darregueira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Frechoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BALTICA FC's Higinio Frechoso got a free kick in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krisztián Novák in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Mitxaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cecilio Gartzen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, BALTICA FC's Timoteo Iaki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Mitxaut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BALTICA FC reached it. In the 45th minute, Hugo Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Batista made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Lucio Odol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darregueira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BALTICA FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 50th minute of the game. One of Darregueira FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BALTICA FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 52 minutes, BALTICA FC's Timoteo Iaki got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hernan Mitxaut. 58 minutes into the game, BALTICA FC's Fabio Lamberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Mitxaut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Benjamin Quintun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Hernan Mitxaut made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Darregueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Novák came free, but Hernan Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Mitxaut was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Krisztián Novák showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. BALTICA FC's Benjamin Quintun got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Mitxaut having to interfere.
