When Carlos Seber came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cabrones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Seber couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Vladimiro Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Zombie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Ganix came free, but Eleuterio Henry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cosme Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cabrones's Joel Ganix suffered a concussion after 23 minutes and had to leave the field. After 23 minutes, Celedonio Cesaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zombie FC and the Cabrones players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cabrones booed when Zombie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Cesaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Zombie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Pio came free, but Eleuterio Henry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Cristian Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabrones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Inautzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Cabrones's goalkeeper Everardo Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Totakoxe. 34 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Clis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zombie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabrones the free kick. A collision led to Zombie FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bonifacio Clis hit a great ball. Cosme Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Cosme Clodio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Henry. Zombie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Clodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cristian Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabrones's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Inautzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Henry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cabrones booed when Zombie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Gervaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Zombie FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cabrones were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Clis to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Cosme Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eleuterio Henry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Cabrones's Cristian Inautzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eleuterio Henry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosme Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cabrones's zone, Bonifacio Clis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Aimar came out of the goal and Bonifacio Clis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Zombie FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emilio Peio hit a great ball. Carlos Seber hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Bonifacio Clis came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Zombie FC fans jumped to their feet. A wasted opportunity for Zombie FC. Cabrones's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
