Freddy Gumaro made a great header on Salto's corner, it was just that El Cheto's Uriel Poz managed to reach the ball for a save. Genaro Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Paolo Rossi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Birjaio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Rossi got free with Tiburcio Birjaio in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When 沈夕鹰 fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Cheto's protests and gave 沈夕鹰 a yellow card for diving instead. El Cheto's supporters crossed their fingers, but 沈夕鹰 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Rossi in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Birjaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Salto's Andreas Vallgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Poz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rosendo Katia hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. El Cheto were victorious despite being under pressure from Salto for much of the match.
