Aldo Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Boatman in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Colegiales booed when Lepra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Carmelo Olando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Furman in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Nuno saved Colegiales from getting behind. Lepra's Aldo Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Olando in the 20th minute of play. Filiberto Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomiro Nuno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiberto Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Boatman in the 26th minute of play forced Lepra's goalkeeper Aldo Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Olando in the 27th minute of play forced Lepra's goalkeeper Aldo Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Karlo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Karlo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Colegiales's Florencio Karlo got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Jacobo Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lepra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Boatman in the 40th minute of play forced Lepra's goalkeeper Aldo Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Lepra defense, Artemio Quintin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Etxeberri. The Lepra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Etxeberri should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Lepra's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Olando came free, but Aldo Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Lepra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Giro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Carmelo Olando made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Colegiales's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Furman came free, but Baldomiro Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Etxeberri was a little too slow when Carmelo Olando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damon Boatman got free with Aldo Etxeberri in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmelo Olando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aldo Etxeberri. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Lepra's Aldo Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Boatman in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Lepra booed when Colegiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damon Boatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Lepra got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Intxixu. Aldo Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Boatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Lepra's Aldo Etxeberri got control of the ball when Carmelo Olando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmelo Olando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 85th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Montel got free with Aldo Etxeberri in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Colegiales's Carmelo Olando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Etxeberri. That made the score 0-6 after 91 minutes of play. Aldo Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Boatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Colegiales played a much better game than Lepra and deserved their victory. The Lepra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
