Emanuel Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alonzo Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Astor Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Omero struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Alonzo Eliazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tala. Alonzo Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Unax in the 23rd minute of play. Club River Plate's Alonzo Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Quentin in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Celestino Goren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tala the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club River Plate's Celestino Goren got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tala were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Club River Plate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Astor Unax took the corner. The corner ended in Astor Unax almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club River Plate's Alonzo Eliazar did a great save. Bruno Reno hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Javier Venceslas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Ignado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 39 minutes on the clock, Alejandro Otsando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Club River Plate's Bruno Reno got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Javier Venceslas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Ignado in the 46th minute of play forced Tala's goalkeeper Javier Venceslas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Omero made a kick off. Simon Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Unax got free with Alonzo Eliazar in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Astor Unax. Celestino Ignado hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Anier Cordario. 59 minutes into the match, Club River Plate's Bruno Reno broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 63rd minute, Simon Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Venceslas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Benino in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Celestino Ignado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Javier Venceslas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Eliazar having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Atilano Benino notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Tala's Javier Venceslas. Javier Venceslas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
