Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Walter made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Honorio Quirze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuchilla and the Richmond Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cuchilla getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Honorio Quirze hit a great ball. Richmond Oilers's Lúcio da Rocha took a good shot, in the 5th minute, which hit the crossbar above Alejandro Iago's head, and flew over the goal. Cuchilla's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Richmond Oilers. Jimeno Fresco charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimeno Fresco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jimeno Fresco hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Alejandro Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darwin Núñez went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 12 played minutes Cuchilla got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Ofelio. Jorge Walter took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Iago. Alejandro Iago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, Darwin Núñez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alejandro Iago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Darwin Núñez made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Iago. Cuchilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Epifanio Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Walter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Iago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Richmond Oilers's Jorge Walter got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darwin Núñez's late challenge caught a Cuchilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darwin Núñez helped the player get up and apologised. Darwin Núñez kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jorge Walter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Richmond Oilers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Walter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Richmond Oilers's Octavio Maldonado got control of the ball when Anier Tomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejandro Iago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darwin Núñez's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Darwin Núñez made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 54thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Alejandro Iago would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Anier Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Wilfredo Cutberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Richmond Oilers and the Cuchilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Maximiliano Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuchilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Inocente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Maldonado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Richmond Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Inocente came free, but Octavio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Walter in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Iago saved Cuchilla from getting behind. Octavio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alejandro Iago made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Darwin Núñez sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes Cuchilla got a freekick which was hit by Anier Tomi. Darwin Núñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Iago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darwin Núñez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, Jorge Walter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Iago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Richmond Oilers's Octavio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Tomi in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute Anier Tomi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Maldonado having to interfere. Alejandro Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Walter in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jorge Walter put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Iago. Richmond Oilers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
