A collision led to San Antonio FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Santiago Gaskon hit a great ball. Iker Maria made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Camilo Ospin sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Vergaray came free, but Efthimis Karkavilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boca Juniors's Efthimis Karkavilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Giraldo in the 43rd minute of play. The tension between the San Antonio FC and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card.
