Leopoldo Huly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Montrell in the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Jeremias Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Huly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Lucado in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Huly saved Rosario Central from getting behind. If Abelardo Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Jeremias Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnoldo Mateus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Tolino in the 24th minute. Leopoldo Huly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Stoyko Rashev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnoldo Mateus, 1-0. Arnoldo Mateus came out of the goal and Aldo Tolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Aldo Tolino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Mateus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Abelardo Lucado could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Leopoldo Huly however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Montrell in the 65th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Leopoldo Huly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vieja guardia futbol's Arnoldo Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Tolino in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Nisio came free, but Leopoldo Huly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
