Cesar Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Tobias Karmel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Roberto Fresco made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Moreira got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cesar Malvin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Edmundo Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cesar Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Fresco charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Fresco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But to his dismay, Edmundo Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Fidencio during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, Roberto Fresco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Malvin.
