Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Osoitz made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Mauricio Canor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Isias. Balneario FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Canor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Balneario FC's Wilfredo Hunfredo got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Jesus Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Loranca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Balneario FC booed when Mate y Asado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Jesus Montrelle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balneario FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mate y Asado FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Balneario FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Montrelle. Mauricio Canor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Isias having to make a save. Balneario FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Tadeo Clodio scored to the left of an out of position Pablo Isias, making the score, 2-0. Mate y Asado FC's Mauricio Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Montrelle hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Pablo Isias made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Mauricio Canor sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Osoitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pablo Isias came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Osoitz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute, Wilfredo Hunfredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Pudes in the 41st minute of play forced Mate y Asado FC's goalkeeper Denis Loranca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulo Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mate y Asado FC's Mauricio Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Hunfredo made a kick off. Mauricio Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Isias having to interfere. After some careless play in the Balneario FC defense, Mauricio Canor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Isias. The Balneario FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Isias should have stopped the shot. Denis Loranca made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Braulio Hegoi sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Mate y Asado FC's Amancio Hermelando seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amancio Hermelando the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mate y Asado FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amancio Hermelando had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mate y Asado FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Ramon Primeiro placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 75 played minutes Balneario FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Montrelle. After 79 played minutes Mate y Asado FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Silban. After 81 played minutes Mate y Asado FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Gutierrez. If Mauricio Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mate y Asado FC booed when Balneario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Balneario FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Montrelle. After a defensive mix-up in Balneario FC's zone, Mauricio Canor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Isias came out of the goal and Mauricio Canor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Mate y Asado FC's Denis Loranca got control of the ball when Haroldo Pudes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mate y Asado FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
