The supporters of CATRE booed when Tellier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Pająk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Lino Hermelando notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CATRE's Nicasio Atarratze. Nicasio Atarratze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicasio Atarratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Håning in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Morales in the 21st minute of play forced CATRE's goalkeeper Nicasio Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Hermelando, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Janusz Pająk sped through CATRE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicasio Atarratze. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Pająk in the 35th minute of play forced CATRE's goalkeeper Nicasio Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tellier's Apolo Berto got control of the ball when Yaşar Orkun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute CATRE were awarded a corner. Norino Rapino went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on CATRE's corner Norino Rapino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Apolo Berto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40th minute Lino Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Janusz Pająk notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CATRE's Nicasio Atarratze. Nicasio Atarratze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Janusz Pająk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicasio Atarratze was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Janusz Pająk was the one to do the kick off. Apolo Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Orkun in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Janusz Pająk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tellier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Tellier's Elpidio Vedillo was substituted for Álvaro Morales. Tellier's Celedonio Gabino was substituted for Jens Håning. In the 64th minute Lino Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Janusz Pająk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicasio Atarratze. That made the score 0-7 in the 66 minute of play. CATRE's Nicasio Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Vedillo in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, CATRE's goalkeeper Nicasio Atarratze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janusz Pająk. Nicasio Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Gaxan in the 78th minute of play. Nicasio Atarratze came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Tellier's Janusz Pająk. But to his dismay, Janusz Pająk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Nicasio Atarratze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janusz Pająk in the 83rd minute. 89 minutes into the game, Federico Salvatore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Apolo Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 96 in the game by Janusz Pająk from a close distance when the talented Nicasio Atarratze managed to make a qualified save. CATRE's players were relieved. When the match was over Tellier could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CATRE throughout the match.
