In the 9th minute, Harry Fristedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Txindoki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jose Caceres made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Serafino Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Harry Fristedt made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Txindoki. Pirquitas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pirquitas's zone, Harry Fristedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Txindoki came out of the goal and Harry Fristedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Brænden, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute Eduardo Beliran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Fristedt in the 34th minute of play forced Pirquitas's goalkeeper Baldomero Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirquitas's Laureano Corderall managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Robert Brænden in the 69 minute of the game. Laureano Corderall kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Harry Fristedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Baldomero Txindoki made a huge save. After some careless play in the Pirquitas defense, Eduardo Beliran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Txindoki. The Pirquitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Txindoki should have stopped the shot. Baldomero Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Beliran in the 77th minute. Baldomero Txindoki made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Tiburcio Madaleno sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Miguel Montay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirquitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arribeños Sur the free kick. After 81 played minutes Pirquitas got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Montay. 81 minutes into the match, Arribeños Sur's Tiburcio Madaleno broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arribeños Sur's Jose Caceres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Azevedo in the 91st minute of play. If Harry Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Pirquitas's Miguel Montay seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Miguel Montay the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pirquitas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Miguel Montay had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Eduardo Beliran shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Arribeños Sur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
