The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliano Manilan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestor Guillelmus firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Emir Işıklar in the 5th minute of play forced AV & AA's goalkeeper Cirilo Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ali Emir Işıklar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Mancio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Pastor Gitano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nestor Guillelmus. Pastor Gitano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. AV & AA's Cirilo Mancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Emir Işıklar in the 15th minute of play. If Ali Emir Işıklar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute of the match, Joaquin Morales tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nestor Guillelmus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cirilo Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Emir Işıklar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Arturo Otsoa lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Nestor Guillelmus was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Aureliano Manilan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aureliano Manilan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Emir Işıklar was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes AV & AA got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Larra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Manilan in the 54th minute of play forced Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kara-Murat Goiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Mancio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Nestor Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Guerau in the 59th minute of the match. Kara-Murat Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cirilo Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Guerau kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Ali Emir Işıklar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Gitano in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano de Andrade came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fabiano de Andrade in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Guillelmus saved Funebrero FC from getting behind. AV & AA's Cirilo Mancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save AV & AA from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by AV & AA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guillermo Gutxi was slow to take the kick. During this time Funebrero FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 77th minute Raimundo Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Ali Emir Işıklar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cirilo Mancio. The goal made the score 2-1. Cirilo Mancio was a little too slow when Ali Emir Işıklar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
