In the 13th minute Güneş Pehlivan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NETTO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Timo in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Timo in the 16th minute of play forced Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's goalkeeper Ovidio Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Birjaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Lopes in the 19th minute of the match. If Leandro Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Perritos y Gatitos Unidos booed when NETTO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Teofilo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Birjaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Iratzeder in the 35th minute. Dag Ahlrot struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ovidio Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NETTO FC. 40 minutes into the match, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Güneş Pehlivan came free, but Ovidio Chus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Ovidio Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Ahlrot in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

NETTO FC made a substitution. Cesar Txatxu replaced Leandro Timo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Lopes was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Txatxu came free, but Ovidio Chus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Eguen, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorel Logofeteanu during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dorel Logofeteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ignacio Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cesar Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's goalkeeper Ovidio Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dag Ahlrot.
