Abelardo Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tomás Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Pagomari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Silvano Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomás Goren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Pagomari was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match Atlético y Tiro Rqta got a corner. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Pagomari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Tomás Goren managed to work through Faro Norte MARPLA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tomás Goren dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 30 minutes into the game, Armando Massa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Berenguer. Armando Massa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 33 minutes into the game, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Tomás Goren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Pagomari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Massa came free, but Abelardo Berenguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Umberto Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Berenguer. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Armando Massa made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Leobardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Berenguer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Tomás Goren might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Pagomari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Goren ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlético y Tiro Rqta made a substitution. Alejandro Valverde replaced Tomás Goren. Armando Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Abelardo Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Gonçalves in the 65th minute of play. Alejandro Valverde struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Silvano Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético y Tiro Rqta. Silvano Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Valverde in the 74th minute of the match. Alejandro Valverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Erubiel Munio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Romeo Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Faro Norte MARPLA's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Valverde came free, but Silvano Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Valverde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Silvano Pagomari made a huge save. After 90 played minutes Atlético y Tiro Rqta got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Izotz. In the 91st minute of the match Albano Illart sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Berenguer skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot by Erubiel Munio from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Silvano Pagomari's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Silvano Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Valverde in the 98th minute of play.
