Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Uglješa Bekan kicked off to start the match. Marinko Tanović charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marinko Tanović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marinko Tanović hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Dušan Brajić sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Niška Banja FC's Dejan Maričić didn't even have to move. Matija Ljubenović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uglješa Bekan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dušan Brajić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetomir Zlatković could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dejan Maričić made a huge save. Uglješa Bekan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Uglješa Bekan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunaroš FC's Matija Ljubenović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matija Ljubenović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stojan Višelavski, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Josif Ognjenović hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Uglješa Bekan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matija Ljubenović. Gunaroš FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 19 minutes of play Niška Banja FC's Marinko Tanović was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 20th minute, Marinko Tanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mirko Aksić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dejan Maričić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rajko Đinđić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Matija Ljubenović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stojan Višelavski's late challenge caught a Gunaroš FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Saša Jakšić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Niška Banja FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Svetomir Zlatković fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stojan Višelavski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matija Ljubenović having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Dušan Brajić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svetomir Zlatković to strike the kick off in the second half. Dejan Maričić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirko Aksić, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Niška Banja FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dušan Brajić was slow to take the kick. During this time Gunaroš FC's players had a chance to rest. Dejan Maričić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetomir Zlatković in the 54th minute of play. Saša Jakšić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svetomir Zlatković in the 59th minute of play forced Niška Banja FC's goalkeeper Dejan Maričić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Aksić might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dejan Maričić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mirko Aksić ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Niška Banja FC's Uglješa Bekan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Uglješa Bekan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Niška Banja FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Uglješa Bekan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd minute, one of Niška Banja FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Niška Banja FC. In the 68th match minute, Niška Banja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saša Jakšić to maneuver through the defense. Mirko Aksić struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Dejan Maričić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunaroš FC. In the 72nd minute Svetomir Zlatković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Maričić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dejan Maričić came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunaroš FC's Svetomir Zlatković. But to his dismay, Svetomir Zlatković quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Niška Banja FC's Dejan Maričić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Brajić in the 80th minute of play. Dejan Maričić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirko Aksić, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 85 minutes, Veroljub Vukčević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunaroš FC and the Niška Banja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
