In a very dangerous position, a player in Veliko Laole FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Valjevo F. Ristivoje Nackov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boško Mandić. 0-1. Veliko Laole FC's Boško Mandić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vojin Milačić in the 9th minute of play. Vojin Milačić scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boško Mandić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vojin Milačić struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Boško Mandić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valjevo F. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valjevo F's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miodrag Barović was slow to take the kick. During this time Veliko Laole FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Miodrag Barović almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Valjevo F's Ljubo Pavićević did a great save. In the 30th minute, Kuzman Sajić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boško Mandić was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Miodrag Barović hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Boško Mandić came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Valjevo F's Vojin Milačić. But to his dismay, Vojin Milačić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ristivoje Nackov made a great header on Valjevo F's corner, it was just that Veliko Laole FC's Boško Mandić managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 43rd minute Mladen Levkić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ljubo Pavićević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Radmilo Gligorić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krstan Ljubinković could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ljubo Pavićević made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Mladen Levkić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veliko Laole FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mladen Levkić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ljubo Pavićević breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Boško Mandić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vojin Milačić, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Boško Mandić made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Radmilo Gligorić sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikola Mudreša during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mladen Levkić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ljubo Pavićević having to make a save. Ljubo Pavićević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krstan Ljubinković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Valjevo F got a freekick which was hit by Radoslav Ivković. 82 minutes into the game, Radmilo Gligorić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valjevo F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veliko Laole FC the free kick. After 82 played minutes Valjevo F got a freekick which was hit by Radmilo Gligorić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krstan Ljubinković in the 90th minute of play forced Valjevo F's goalkeeper Ljubo Pavićević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuzman Sajić hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Valjevo F supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valjevo F would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
