Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Šćepan Jovičin made the kick off and thus started the match. Kamenko Jošićs short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Marinko Rukavina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tugomir Gardašević in the 8th minute of play forced Surdulica's goalkeeper Čeda Piskulić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Surdulica's Šćepan Jovičin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marinko Rukavina. Čeda Piskulić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darko Starčević in the 17th minute of play. Izbište's Željko Jovančov suffered a sprained foot after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 19 minutes, Krsta Pajić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surdulica and the Izbište players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Kamenko Jošić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surdulica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 30 played minutes Izbište got a freekick which was hit by Jovan Kostić. After 30 played minutes, Surdulica's Šćepan Jovičin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marinko Rukavina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Surdulica reached it. 3-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Šćepan Jovičin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Tugomir Gardašević fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izbište's protests and gave Tugomir Gardašević a yellow card for diving instead. Tugomir Gardašević hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Šćepan Jovičin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marinko Rukavina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marinko Rukavina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Šćepan Jovičin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darko Starčević to make the kick off. Izbište's Marinko Rukavina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Šćepan Jovičin in the 52nd minute of play. Darko Starčević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Čeda Piskulić made a huge save. Darko Starčević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Čeda Piskulić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Čeda Piskulić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Izbište's Tugomir Gardašević got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tugomir Gardašević kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamenko Jošić in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marinko Rukavina saved Izbište from getting behind. Marinko Rukavina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Šćepan Jovičin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Surdulica's Šćepan Jovičin got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marinko Rukavina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Šćepan Jovičin went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Surdulica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
