Anwell Dunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tarrant Hodson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg March Fishbourne managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when UWA Llangollen's Cadyryeith Holster fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. March Fishbourne made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cadyryeith Holster sent off a good shot on target. If Cadyryeith Holster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Llyr Currier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving March Fishbourne. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 32nd minute Llyr Currier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but March Fishbourne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anwell Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cadyryeith Holster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Talgarth Utd getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Bradwen Brien hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Anwell Dunn made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match Talgarth Utd got a corner. UWA Llangollen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bradwen Brien ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Talgarth Utd's Teryrnon Bannon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tarrant Hodson. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. Tarrant Hodson came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Talgarth Utd's Amerawdwr Crittle. But to his dismay, Amerawdwr Crittle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Anwell Dunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cadyryeith Holster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without March Fishbourne having to interfere. When UWA Llangollen's Cadyryeith Holster in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talgarth Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Tarrant Hodson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anwell Dunn in the 76th minute of play. March Fishbourne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cadyryeith Holster, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Goronwy Freeman hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Tarrant Hodson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anwell Dunn in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes in the game, Amerawdwr Crittle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tarrant Hodson having to interfere. In the 96th minute Anwell Dunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarrant Hodson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talgarth Utd's Anwell Dunn got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The UWA Llangollen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Talgarth Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
