Spectators: 6767 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Conwy Andrew got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevyn Henry in the 4th minute of play forced Beaumaris Utd's goalkeeper Arthur Boggs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Boggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevyn Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Beaumaris Utd's Arthur Boggs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevyn Henry in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Kevyn Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rhyl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Iolo Henley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Rhyl's goal looked a bit too open when Conwy Andrew came free, but Gwawl Potter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevyn Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Selyf Canning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rhyl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selyf Canning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevyn Henry in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Boggs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 28 played minutes, Beaumaris Utd's Merlin Fane shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gwawl Potter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beaumaris Utd reached it. 32 minutes into the match, Rhyl's Selyf Canning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arthur Boggs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Selyf Canning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Kevyn Henry took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arthur Boggs to make any attempt to save it. If Conwy Andrew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iolo Henley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevyn Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arthur Boggs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevyn Henry in the 52nd minute of play. The corner ended in Berth Linkletter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beaumaris Utd's Arthur Boggs did a great save. Arthur Boggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevyn Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selyf Canning struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Arthur Boggs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rhyl. A collision led to Beaumaris Utd getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Neued Bilton hit a great ball. The supporters of Rhyl booed when Beaumaris Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neued Bilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Rhyl's Berth Linkletter tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 74 minutes of play, Rhyl's Kevyn Henry made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Boggs was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Beaumaris Utd's Conwy Andrew dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. A collision led to Rhyl getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bleddyn Catley hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes Rhyl got a freekick which was hit by Rhys Hehir. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selyf Canning in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Boggs saved Beaumaris Utd from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Rhyl's goalkeeper Gwawl Potter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iolo Henley. Conwy Andrew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gwawl Potter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwawl Potter made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Iolo Henley sent off a good shot on target. Selyf Canning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Boggs having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Iolo Henley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beaumaris Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rhyl had won after a very even match.
