After having played for 11 minutes, Gerallt Blackburn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porthcawl Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerallt Blackburn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Perceval Jolson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nentres Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maelgwn Grim hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerallt Blackburn in the 19th minute of play forced Llandysul's goalkeeper Nentres Leary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerallt Blackburn took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nentres Leary. Nentres Leary dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Cadwaladr Gore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ieuan Jamison was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Greid Brin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Gwawl Garth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwawl Garth in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ieuan Jamison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Perceval Jolson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nentres Leary. Llandysul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perceval Jolson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nentres Leary came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Porthcawl Utd's Gerallt Blackburn . But to his dismay, Gerallt Blackburn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Greid Brin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porthcawl Utd's protests and gave Greid Brin a yellow card for diving instead. Maelgwn Grim hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Perceval Jolson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nentres Leary having to interfere. The Porthcawl Utd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porthcawl Utd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
