UWA Bridgend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gusg Higgin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 minutes of play, UWA Bridgend's Nerthach Keely made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inek Hernon was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to UWA Bridgend getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pedr Huckaby hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Neued Blackadder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gwevyl Brin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gusg Higgin in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Inek Hernon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Inek Hernon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nerthach Keely's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. If Bleddyn Knox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Nerthach Keely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Neued Blackadder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gwevyl Brin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inek Hernon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nerthach Keely went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Nerthach Keely was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Nerthach Keely put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Inek Hernon. 5-1 became the score in the 39th minute when Nerthach Keely elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

Gwevyl Brin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neued Blackadder, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Inek Hernon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nerthach Keely's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Pwyll Folds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inek Hernon having to interfere. UWA Bridgend's Gwevyl Brin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neued Blackadder in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Nerthach Keely notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of WALES National Team's Inek Hernon. Inek Hernon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nerthach Keely in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inek Hernon saved WALES National Team from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UWA Bridgend had played much better football throughout.
