In the 17th match minute, Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwyr Eccleston to maneuver through the defense. Cadeyrn Pattern didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urien Barnett went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Urien Barnett put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cadeyrn Pattern. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cadellin Dowdall in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Howell Folds prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urien Barnett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cadeyrn Pattern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wrexham FC's Cadellin Dowdall got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Cadellin Dowdall fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wrexham FC's protests and gave Cadellin Dowdall a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Wrexham FC got a freekick which was hit by Cadellin Dowdall. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urien Barnett in the 41st minute of play forced Wrexham FC's goalkeeper Cadeyrn Pattern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siencyn Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Bwlch Inger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Bwlch Inger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cadeyrn Pattern breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Inek Kirk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siencyn Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Howell Folds having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aberthol Langley in the 67th minute of play forced Wrexham FC's goalkeeper Cadeyrn Pattern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melkin Hurlburt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Howell Folds having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Siencyn Booth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Howell Folds was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urien Barnett got free with Cadeyrn Pattern in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urien Barnett hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Penarth's Urien Barnett got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Siencyn Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Howell Folds having to interfere. Siencyn Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Howell Folds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Rhodri Hastings sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Penarth's Howell Folds didn't even have to move. The Wrexham FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Penarth's performance. The match ended with a win for Penarth.
