Melkin Dunn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edern Bragg's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Brys Lindley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwyr Day having to interfere. The supporters of UWA Beaumaris booed when UWA Port Talbot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyglet Illingworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Nerth Chase got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edern Bragg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UWA Beaumaris's Melkin Dunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llwybyr Hamm in the 28th minute of play. Melkin Dunn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Llwybyr Hamm's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Nerth Chase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Beaumaris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nerth Chase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Llwyr Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nerth Chase in the 38th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, UWA Port Talbot's goalkeeper Llwyr Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brys Lindley. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edern Bragg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Edern Bragg managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Port Talbot's supporters rose to their feet, but Edern Bragg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melkin Dunn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Llwybyr Hamm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, UWA Port Talbot's Neued Luther got a free kick in the 68th minute. Brys Lindley struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Llwyr Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Beaumaris. Brys Lindley took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Llwyr Day. Llwyr Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
